Every year we set goals for the coming year.
It’s good to be aware of your goals. But before we set our goals, let’s look back.
What have we done this year? What happened this year? Did we do what we wanted? Have we achieved anything? What are we proud of? Reflect your year.
And let go of the things that weren’t good. Accept what happened and let go. Release your soul!
Find the feelings, routines and things you do NOT want to take with you into the New Year. Then set your new goals. Write them down. You can divide your goals into daily goals, weekly goals and 6-month goals. And when you write it down, look at it again and let it go through you again. Are those really your own thoughts? Is that really what you want?
And it’s not about forbidding you anything. Just because someone else might do something doesn’t mean it’s good for you. Listen. If it feels right, let’s go. You don’t have to go to the gym every day. You don’t have to give up sweets forever. It’s about balance, and you need to be ready for it. If you force yourself, it won’t last long and you’ll be back to your old routine. Why do you want this change? Maybe it’s not just about the candy in your life. Maybe there’s something else that gives you these cravings. Something else is missing from your life. You’re out of balance.
So when you set your goals, be realistic, be sure they are your own goals and take your dreams forward. How do you see yourself in 2017? Where would you like to be? What do you want to do? Where would you like to go? Where would you like to work? Where would you like to live? What would you like to work for? What are you gonna do for yourself? Where would you like to go? What do you want your day to look like? What about your health? Any changes in your job? What about your relationship? Do you want to create a new tomorrow routine? Whatever it is. Let your dreams out and set your own goals. Let it inspire you.
